We're back!

We're back from Düsseldorf and more excited than ever to move! We had all our questions answered and met the people involved locally in Youth Compass. Everyone we met was wonderful and it will be a perfect fit for our family. We saw the house we will live in and where the youth will meet.
We also were told the monthly support we need to raise went down to about $2400. It would cost a lot more than $2400 for us to live in Europe but the local board in Düsseldorf raises a substantial amount as well. To break it down, it would take about 48 people to give $50 a month to reach our goal. We've been meeting with people already and are having great responses. So thank you to those who've met with us and for all those who have been praying for us.
Youth Compass has put us on an accelerated program and they would like to see us there by the end of March in order to attend their annual service project called Project Compassion. This means we are trying to meet with as many people as possible. We've been going into people's homes and telling them more personally about the opportunity. We also are meeting with families and small groups. We'd love to meet with everyone we can.
The students Youth Compass works with move all over the world and there are challenges involved in that transient lifestyle. We are excited for the opportunity to sit down and talk about life's big questions in a safe place where students can be themselves. We hope to be a steady presence in their ever changing world and  build deep and loving relationships with them.
Pray for us as we are meeting with families. Megan has a meeting with her MOPS group this week. We are trying to contact everyone we can. If you'd like to hear more about it, let us know!
